On the platform
A Record Of Big Numbers
From a tiny room in Petersham to a bigger home in Ashfield, our lifters have earned national recognition, with national champions and both Junior and Open national records coming out of the team.
Powerlifting coaching
Coached To Perform On Meet Day
Random training gets random totals. Our coaches build periodised programming around your competition calendar, so your squat, bench and deadlift all peak when it counts, not three weeks too early.
You're coached on the floor, with real eyes on your technique and the small corrections that add kilos without adding risk. Whether it's your first novice meet or you're chasing qualifying totals, you train as part of the team with people in your corner the whole way.

Your head coach
Coached By A Lifter, Not Just A Trainer
Our coaches don't just write programs, they compete too. The team is led by founder and head coach Chris Aslan, an exercise physiologist with more than ten years coaching the sport and a multiple time Australian powerlifting representative in his own right.
That means you're learning from people who've been under a heavy bar on meet day themselves. They know what the nerves feel like, what peaking actually takes, and how to blend serious strength work with keeping you healthy enough to keep training, so you get the small corrections that add kilos without adding risk.

Common Questions
I've never competed. Can I still start?
Absolutely. Plenty of our team started with their first novice meet. You'll learn the lifts properly, get coached on technique, and only step onto the platform once you're ready. We even host novice competitions open to all levels.
I already compete. Can you take me further?
Yes. We coach lifters from first meets through to national level and beyond, with periodised programming built around your competition calendar and your qualifying goals.
What's the coaching like?
You're coached on the floor with real eyes on your squat, bench and deadlift. Programming is periodised and tailored to you, and you train as part of the powerlifting team rather than on your own.
What equipment do you have?
Competition grade throughout, with 7+ IPF approved combo racks, dedicated deadlift platforms, powerlifting barbells and calibrated plates, so you're training on the gear you'll compete on.
Do you run competitions?
Yes. We host our own novice competitions and APA sanctioned meets on our floor. Check the events page for what's coming up.
Where are you and can I park?
391 Liverpool Rd, Ashfield NSW 2131, in Sydney's Inner West. There's parking at the rear via Beatrice St.
