Tatsuya Pun
Hey guys, I'm coach Tats, and I'm a transgender athlete. I've been a strength coach for over 6 years and have coached everyone from complete beginners through to competitive athletes. I came into the sport as a competitor with no previous training experience, then started studying the anatomy of the human body, biomechanics and the technical breakdown of lifts. Today I use that knowledge and experience to coach others on how to build training into their lifestyle and improve their quality of life, turning motivation into discipline and bringing their goals into reality.
I'm a big believer in helping my clients become competent, informed and confident in the gym, so they can keep training with longevity and discipline long after their first milestones are met. I'm proud to be the first transgender athlete to compete in PRORAW, and the founder of Deadlift for Diversity, a non-profit queer fundraiser. My vision is to make training a knowledge-based, fun and safe space that's inclusive of everyone.
